July 18, 2020 - Hubei Jiayun Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. held a batch delivery ceremony for its advanced snow removal vehicles at its production base in Zengdu Economic Development Zone. A total of 40 multi-function de-icing and snow removal trucks were delivered to transportation and emergency management departments across several provinces, strengthening winter preparedness for snow and ice disasters.
The newly delivered equipment integrates pushing, breaking, sweeping, and spreading functions into one system, achieving three core performance breakthroughs:
- Equipped with a 165Kw diesel main engine and dual 132Kw auxiliary engines, the trucks can clear snow at a rate of 2,800 m² per hour, break ice up to 3 cm thick, and are suitable for urban roads and highways.
- Featuring an independently obstacle-avoiding snowplow and spiral wire brushes with ±30° swing adjustment, the system effectively avoids manhole covers and guardrails, achieving a snow clearance rate of over 98%.
- The trucks operate in temperatures as low as -25°C and include an automated spreader system with adjustable width between 2–12 meters, enabling integrated snow removal, de-icing, and cleaning.
One recipient representative from the Xinyang Transport Bureau noted that the vehicles have been tested in extreme mountainous conditions and can reduce road clearance time by up to 60%, thanks to their 11-meter turning diameter and high ground clearance.
Jiayun also provides a full service package including training and maintenance, with a 10-day hands-on program covering intelligent control operation and low-temperature troubleshooting, backed by 24/7 emergency support.
With an annual production capacity of 300 units, Jiayun offers a complete range from light (4.5-ton) to heavy (16-ton) snow removal vehicles. This delivery is set to improve emergency response on over 1,200 kilometers of key roads in Central China.
Industry experts highlight that this batch delivery not only demonstrates Jiayun's technical capabilities but also contributes to building a rapid-response network for winter road emergencies in the region.
